I bought my stamps for my wedding invitations two weeks ago after having the post office weigh them. Yesterday when I actually went to mail them the price had increased by 3 cents per ounce so I was short 3 cents on each one. The postal worker convinced me that it would be ok because they are lenient the first week after the change. I was up all night worrying about this. I should have just put the ugly 3 cent stamps on them. Does anyone know if this so called grace period is real?

I might have more costs but this is pretty much all I have left.
What are your costs and when is your wedding?
Itemize all your charges if you can please. It will be fun to compare and contrast and see how much different everybody’s costs are for their vendors.
Thanks for answering!
Thank you notes/RD invitations/Stamps for those $?
Not what I was asking Jenny. It was a curiosity question to see what people were spending money on and how much, just to compare and contrast. I do not need assistance on "missing" costs.
