Has anyone used an online company for their wedding postage stamps like zazzle.com? I’ve seen comments where the only legitimate postage stamps have to come from the post office (USPS). Is this true?

We used zazzle.com for postage for our invitations, RSVP cards, and for the rehearsal dinner invitations. They not only worked with the postal service, but we also got quite a few compliements on how nice they looked.
Happy planning to you!
I used Zazzle for my Save the Date announcements, and they were great! The choices were all so cute (Check out The Knot collection of stamps) and were shipped to my house on time. I didn’t have any problems with the post office either. No returns or anything.
Good Luck!
I have never used them or even heard of them until now but they look legit to me. It looks like you are buying an actual .42 cent stamp but just with your own design. It says real US postage but I don’t know. Maybe research the company a little bit more? BBB? consumeraffairs.com?
You could also check out usps.com maybe they have a stamp that you like. Customized stamps are cute but face the reality. Someone will get your invitation, and IF they even notice your face on a stamp they’ll say "oh thats cute" and in the garbage it goes. I wouldn’t stress about it too much. We put breast cancer stamps on ours because it was a cause we both believed in and they were very pretty stamps that matched our colors, not that a single guest probably realized that when they were at the wedding!
You could call up the post office (or go in) and ask them if they are legitimate.
Why use them when the POst Office does customized stamps as well. You can put any picture you want to on a stamp!
You can even buy a kit at the post office and print your own postage stamps. The price of the kit includes the postage, plus the kit. You supply the photo and ink. It’s all legit!
But realize that each stamp will cost more than a normal stamp because of the custom look.
yes they are legitimate, consider http://zazzle.com/fe0208
theres cards, matching postage and you can also get magnets
